The main goal of our research is to better understand the physics underlying transport of momentum, heat, water vapor and pollutants in the atmospheric boundary layer. Improved descriptions of those processes are developed and used in engineering, environmental and wind energy applications (e.g., hydrologic, weather, air quality and wind energy assessment models).
Our research involves a combination of experimental work, modeling and theoretical development.
